Reverse Mortgage Specialist Charles Guinn

I became interested in the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage, commonly called reverse mortgage, as a financial tool when a couple came to me for financial planning. They were retired and having a difficult time making their mortgage payment each month. With a little research I found that reverse mortgage would relieve their monthly payment and guarantee them a place to live for the rest of their lives, all they had to do was pay the taxes, keep the place insured and maintained. Within a month their reverse mortgage was completed, and they were relieved and happy. Every now and then I call to check up on them. They are living a comfortable and fulfilled life, free of worry, with their social security and small pension paying the bills. That was over ten years ago, and that's when I decided to devote my career to helping seniors live better lives with proper use of reverse mortgages.

I was first licensed in Real Estate by the California DRE in 1975, later by the CA Department of Insurance, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Currently I hold a Real Estate Broker License with California and a Mortgage Originator License with the NMLS.

With over two decades of experience in financial planning, real estate, and lending, I am able to review a client's financial position, their needs, and their goals, and help them formulate a plan for their future. Then they can make an objective decision if a reverse mortgage would help them or not.

My goal is to help people establish a sustainable life and make sure they have a comfortable home, where they can relax, knowing they have a place to live for the rest of their lives.
